General Board Elections (Please pick your top 3 choices)
Please email your top 3 candidates to email@example.com
Deadline to submit votes is Monday March 10th
Jacob Bowes I would like to be on the board for the Student Wolfpack Club because I love NC State Athletics and feel the Student Wolfpack Club represents the most passionate students on campus. I believe I am one of those passionate students and want to do everything I can to promote NC State athletics while ensuring others have the opportunity to do so as well. I also believe my leadership and communication skills can be used on the board to continue the success of the largest student run organization on campus.
Amelia Coley My name is Amelia Coley and I am a sophomore in Civil Engineering. I am from Marshville, NC and this is my second year as a member of SWPC. I am running to be a member of the SWPC General Board, not because I have a vast knowledge of sports, but because I am and always have been a loyal Wolfpack fan. Win or lose, I stay until the clock runs out, just to sway and sing the Alma Mater at the end of a sports event. I am a dedicated student and fan; I even took my statics homework to the UNC game last week, just so I didn’t have to give up my ticket. So vote for me, Amelia, because I promise to continue being a loyal, dedicated and true fan. Thank you and as always, go pack!
Marissa Counts Hey everybody! My name is Marissa Counts and I’m a freshman with a major in Communication. I absolutely love NC State Athletics. It was a huge part of my decision to come to NC State. I am very creative and have a lot of ideas that could help many of you get more involved in Student Wolfpack Club and I would love to represent you on the board. I am very dedicated and would love to assist with any events the club has. However, there is one more thing you should know about me, and it’s probably the most important of all: I HATE CAROLINA. So, please vote for me! Go PACK!!
Emily DeZubay Hi everyone, my name is Emily DeZubay. I am a sophomore in Business Administration with a minor in Animal Science and I am from Charlotte, NC. I would like to serve on Student Wolfpack Club as a board member because I feel I have fresh ideas I could bring to the club. I also would love to be a part of the largest student organization to further promote the Wolfpack pride our university carries. Thank you and go Pack!
Matthew Griffin Hey everyone, my name is Matthew Griffin and I am a freshman majoring in Sport Management. I think I could bring a lot of new and fun ideas to the Student Wolf Pack club. I have a lot of experience with leadership and event planning and hope to utilize those skills if I make it onto the board. I would like to see the Wolf Pack club get more involved and excited about NC State athletics and also to have more fun club wide events. I have a passion for NC State athletics and I want to see our club get behind the Pack in an even stronger way! Please vote for me Matthew Griffin!
Micala Griffin Hi, my name is Micala Griffin. I am a sophomore in Elementary Education and I am from Monroe, NC. I would like to become a board member, first, because I love NC State athletics, the games, the atmosphere, and the excitement that comes along with that. Second, I believe that Wolfpack Club is a great representation of how NC State is one big family that supports and cheers for one another. I would like to take on a leadership role in the club so that I can further support our athletes as well as represent you all as club members. Oh, and my dad is a huge Carolina fan so it would be pretty cool to say that I am a board member of the greatest student organization around! Thank you and GO PACK!!
Conner Miles My name is Connor Miles and I am a freshman in the Poole College of Management. There are three reasons that I want to be on the General Body of the Student Wolfpack Club. The first reason is that I want to serve the most passionate fans at NC State that make up the Student Wolfpack Club. I want to form relationships with these people because they will become future alumni and part of the Wolfpack Club. The second reason is that I recently became a student manager for the football team and as a “rookie”, I look up to Kelson Crocker and Logan Blankenship and would like to work with them outside of football. The third reason is that my sister worked in the Wolfpack Club office, but she died of breast cancer during my junior year of high school. So I would like to dedicate my position to her and show the same dedication to NC State athletics that she had.
Colin Perry I am running for general board because I feel like I can bring leadership along with new ideas to the SWPC board. I have been a life long Wolfpack fan and because of that I understand what it means to be a true Wolfpack fan. I believe I am an excellent choice for election to the board because I love NC State University and I would love to be involved in the decisions made to improve the SWPC.
Emily Raynor My name is Emily Raynor and I am from Benson, NC. I am a sophomore in Human Biology and have been involved with SWPC for 2 years. I am running for the general board because I have been a Wolfpack fan ALL of my life! I love Wolfpack sports and do my best to support all of them, and if given the opportunity, I hope to encourage others to become supportive fans as well! SWPC does a great job of showing all of the athletes, from all of the different sports, support which is why I would love to be a leader for such a wonderful campus organization. With that being said, vote Emily Raynor for SWPC general board! GO PACK!
Jonathan Ritter Hello, my name is Jonathan Ritter. I am from High Point, North Carolina. I am a freshmen accounting major at NC State. I would like to be a part of Student Wolfpack Club board because I love the club and would like to be an integral part of what goes on in the club. I have always loved NC State, and am excited to potentially help lead the major student organization supporting wolfpack athletics!
Jeffrey (Will) Smith I’m Jeffrey “Will” Smith, a junior studying psychology with a minor in biology from Burlington, NC. This is my second year at NC State, and I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the SWPC during both years. I am a hard worker who wants to make a difference for the students. As a member of the Board, I would like to ensure that ticket distributions are as efficient and quick as possible. I would also like to implement some new incentives in order to encourage students to participate in this year’s Homecoming. Thank you, and Go Pack!
James Williamson My name is James Williamson, I am from Rock Ridge, NC and a Junior in Forest Management. I have been a member of the Student Wolfpack Club for 3 years now and have been able to see how some thing work well for the club and how some things have not. With 3 years as a member, I feel that I could help make the club better by addressing the issues that I have seen and hopefully help resolve them. I have been a Wolfpack Fan for as long as I can remember and have several family members that have graduated from NC State and this would be an opportunity for me to give my time to to something that has meant a lot to me. I hope you will consider me for your Vote and GO PACK!!
Aaron Vodicka I am a sophomore in Political Science here at NC State. Both my parents went to State and growing up we had season tickets to football and basketball games since I was young enough to share a seat with my older brother. I have been a member of the Wolfpack Club since before I set foot on campus and have been around it ever since. That being said, I know where the club is great and where it struggles. The idea behind the minutes system and the way it encourages students to get behind all of NC State athletics is a unique and a great thing. However, we all know there are other areas for improvement in the club and that’s why I want to be on the board. I want to do what I can to make NC State stay the great place it is and one way of doing so is by being on the Student Wolfpack Club General Board. So please, vote for me, and GO TO HELL CAROLINA!
